Paintball Supply Tips to Give you an Edge

Here's a few suggestions when it comes to paintball equipment and paintball gear. This article relates specifically to someone who is interested in becoming a sniper or someone who is currently looking for additional paintball equipment. The first and most primary important thing is to make sure that your paintball gun has great range and accuracy. Make sure that your gun, whether it's a pump gun or a semiautomatic, is camouflaged well and doesn't stick out with a bright color! Remember as well, that it's important to clean your paintball gun thoroughly after using it. When it comes to the length of the barrel, you want one that is not more than 14 inches long at the very most. The first eight to 10 inches should be solid, but the remaining length can be ported for another 2 to 4 inches. This will make the gun quieter, and just remember that it shouldn't be too shiny either as you don't want someone to spot you right away. Clean the barrel regularly because the cleaner it is, the more accurate your shot will be.

When visiting your paintball supply store, make sure you choose your own paintballs as you have to live with what you get. Purchase the highest quality as they are a better shape and are more aerodynamic and accurate. Match the size of the paintball to the barrel bore-size exactly. This will decrease the chance of one bursting in the barrel.

Make sure that as part of your paintball equipment you have a good paintball mask that has huge lenses and will not fog, especially when you need it the most. When it comes to camouflage clothing, the sky is the limit! If you're playing in a regular tee-shirt and pants, make sure that they blend into the environment. Avoid wearing shiny jewelry or brightly colored clothes. You won't actually need a scope on your paintball gun but you definitely prefer one. It won't help you achieve a greater range or accuracy. The main point is to actually bother to aim, which some people fail to do. A good two-way communication radio headset can be very useful and can give your team members a heads-up on the field, especially for two-person sniper teams. Having a bit of food and water along is a good idea, but don't load yourself down with too much. And finally, don't carry too many paintballs with you as all they will do is add weight and slow you down. A sniper usually fires selectively and only when absolutely necessary. Most paintball stores are more than willing to provide some expert advice, and there is a great selection right online. Some even have toll-free numbers for you to call.
