Wherever the television is located, decorate the room
Just as if it were a college campus home football game, decorate in the team colors with lots of balloons and streamers. If you have football jerseys, helmets, footballs (borrow from your children and their friends) and if you plan to have football parties again, think about investing in some football or cheerleading decorations.

This will amuse your guests throughout the game… you can ask family, friends, neighbors and collect odd, even weird, white elephant type gifts. Bet if you look in your own drawers, cabinets, kid’s rooms, garage, perhaps even the garden or tool shed, you’ll find stuff; see a garage sale, stop and take a chance. Place items individually in team color lunch bags and tie with team colored curly ribbons - this festive look also colors up your room and/or table.
